Every Woman’s Tool Box

I heard a quote the other day and it got me thinking.

It said: “God would not have put a dream in your heart if He had not already given you everything you need to fulfill it.”

Just like God wants us to chase our dreams by giving us the tools to fulfill them, He gives us the tools to overcome our circumstances. I can’t know what you may be facing in this season of your life, maybe it’s an illness, the loss of a loved one, a divorce or a financial disaster, but God would not have let that circumstance breathe any life in your world if He hadn’t created you with the unique tools to overcome it.

Every day and season of life is full of trials and hardships, some big, some small. We are asked questions we don’t know the answers to. We feel lost in the storm of life, we come face to face with situations where we have no control and we are faced with making small, daily choices and sometimes life-altering decisions. With each and every one of these trials, though, we are armed with a God-given toolbox that allows us to face each one of them with courage, wisdom, and strength. Sometimes it just takes a little digging to find them!

“God would not have put a dream in your heart if He had not already given you everything you need to fulfill it.”

As human beings, women especially, we need to spend more time practicing self-love and care. During times of devotion and renewing ourselves is when we really seek and find the courage, wisdom, strength and other tools God has put in our toolboxes. I highly encourage any woman who doesn’t believe she can overcome her circumstances or adversities to spend a little more time trying to discover the tools God has bestowed upon your heart, because they are there somewhere, and no one person or one thing can take them away from you.

“With each and every one of these trials, we are armed with a God-given toolbox that allows us to face each one of them with courage, wisdom, and strength.”

Beyond that, if women as a culture could focus on individually finding those God-given tools and gifts, we could not only overcome the comparatively small adversities of our individual lives, but also come together to make a powerful impact in our nation and world by using those gifts to make a difference.

Let’s be powerful together, because together we are more.
